In order to replace the transmission mount in a rear wheel drive car. First, lift and support the car. Next, remove the exhaust system. Support the transmission using a compatible jack and a piece of wood, and then remove the transmission vent hose from the retainers on the mounts assembly. Leave the transmission mount support to body mounting bolt and the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolt, which enables you to remove the transmission mount support assembly from the vehicle. An installation; positioning the transmission mount support assembly back onto the vehicle with the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolts. Tightening them to 60 N.m (44 lb ft). Then, install the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts and also secure it to 60 N.m (44 lb ft). Reconnect the transmission vent hose to the retainers on the mount assembly, unbolt the transmission jack, reinstall the exhaust system, and finally, lower the vehicle.
