How to replace the Coolant Pipe (LHD, LY7) on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

To replace the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/pipe (LHD, LY7), follow the very uses instructions: drain the cooling system using the Reduction, Cooling System 45716 -Vac, Fill Coolant Tool 16 Die. Then, using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185), take the outlet hose off the surge tank. Loosen the bolt on the bracket which fastens the surge tank outlet hose to the engine and use the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) once more to remove the surge tank outlet hose from the thermostat assembly. You should remove the surge tank outlet hose/pipe from the engine. In case of installation, place the surge tank outlet hose/pipe to the engine and use Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) joining the surge tank outlet hose to the thermostat assembly. Install the bolt into the bracket that holds the entrance pipe of the surge tank on the engine, tightening to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Lastly, use the Hose Clamp Pliers (J38185) and connect the outlet hose to the surge tank, fill the cooling system using the Cooling System Draining and filling (GE 47716 -Vac N Fill Coolant Refill Tool).
