The first step to replace the fuel level sensor in a 2500 with a 98.4L (26 gal) tank at the front starts with removing the fuel tank module. Remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector which is found under the module cover before releasing the retaining clip to slide down the sensor from the bucket. The fuel level sensor replacement process begins with slotting the sensor up onto the bucket while it engages the retaining tab after that install the electrical connector below the module cover and reinstall the fuel tank module.
