How to replace the A/C Hose on LY2, LMF, L76, and L92 on 2008 Cadillac Escalade?

First, recover the refrigerant, before replacing the discharge hose on the ly2, lmf, l76 and the l92. Take off the discharge hose mounting bolt from the A/C Compressor and then unhook the discharge hose from the compressor. Then remove the nut from the upper radiator baffle beforehand, as well as the nut of the discharge hose at the end of the compressor (condenser end). Remove the discharge hose as well. Remove the electrical connector from the a/c recirculation switch and discharge hose from the vehicle, all-billed washers in the used washers, sealing the system with the openings. For the installation, fit the new discharge hose to the vehicle and link it by connecting it to the condenser with new sealing washers. Mount the discharge hose nut onto the condenser and tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Reinstall the upper air baffle and plug the electrical connector a/c recirculation switch back. Next, connect the discharge hose to the A/C Compressor using new sealing washers, fasten the discharge hose mounting bolt and tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Ultimately, vacate and recharge the a/c system and leak test the fittings using the j 39400-a halogen leak detector.
