Begin by taking out the oil filter adapter before you can replace the engine oil pressure sensor or switch. Extract the engine oil pressure switch from its mount position on the oil filter adapter. When installing the sensor replace it with the engine oil pressure switch back onto the oil filter adapter then secure it with 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Once done replace the oil filter adapter. Put the vehicle into its lowest position before you set the engine oil to reach the entire mark. The engine inspection for leakage should begin after starting the vehicle.
