The replacement process of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) outlet pipe begins by removing the air cleaner outlet duct. You must unscrew the egr valve outlet pipe bolt which connects to the Intake Manifold and unfasten the egr valve outlet pipe nut that secures the egr valve adapter. Afterwards detach the egr valve outlet pipe. Start the installation process by setting the egr valve outlet pipe in its intended position according to the specified fastener notice conditions for proper fastening procedure. Fasten the egr valve outlet pipe bolt to the Intake Manifold while tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) torque setting. After that secure the egr valve outlet pipe nut to the egr valve adapter by applying the same torque of 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Reattach the air cleaner outlet duct as the last installation step.
