How to replace the Brake Light Switch on the 4T80-E Automatic Transaxle on 2008 Buick Lucerne?

In order to install the replacement of the torque converter clutch/cruise control release switch on the 4T80-E automatic transaxle, one has to take off the left closeout/insulator panel. Unscrew the upper switch and unscrew the electrical connector. Install the new switch using the brake pedal at rest and reconnection and attachment followed by re-installing the panel.
