How to replace the Air Bag Sensor for Side Impact on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to change the Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor (SIS), switch off the SIR system and take out the door trim. Lift up the water deflector to get access to the sensor, lift off the sensor and un-couple the connector. Wipe the surface, fit the new sensor and fix it and then re-fix the water deflector and switch on the SIR system.
