How to replace the Shift Knob on 2008 Buick Enclave?

Apply parking brake, remove floor-console side panel. Disconnect tap up/down switch, key in RUN, pull lever back. Insert flat tool, drop trim ring to expose screw. Remove screw, guide harness, lift knob. Lubricate lever tip, reinstall knob, tighten screw, click ring. Shift to PARK, key off, reconnect switch, test gears, reinstall panel, release brake.
