2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Alternator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to replace the alternator in a 4.3L engine on 2007 GMC Sierra 1500?
A: Removal of air cleaner outlet resonator and negative battery cable disconnection will replace the generator in a 4.3L engine. Unbolt the drive belt and unbolt the A/C compressor and unscrew the engine wiring harness. Take out the previous generator bolts, rearrange hoses and fit the new generator. Re-connect everything and battery cable.
