How to replace the lower timing chain guide on 2007 GMC Canyon?

In order to replace the lower timing chain guide, loosen the timing chain tensioner shoe and move the crankshaft sprocker to form slack. Removal of the plug of the cylinder head access hole and timing chain guide bolts followed by removal of the guide. Install the guide, bolts, making sure that they are oriented right and then reinstall the tensioner shoe.
