How to replace brake calipers on 2007 GMC Canyon?

Take off the tire and wheel before removing the brake hose from the brake caliper, seeing that the copper gaskets don't stick to either part. After that, take off the worn-out copper gaskets and put in brand new ones. Place a rubber plug or equivalent over the brake hose to keep brake fluid from leaking out and the system clean. Take out the brake caliper slide pin bolts first and then remove the brake caliper from the mounting bracket. To install, put the caliper assembly onto the mounting bracket and secure it with the guide pin bolts, tightened to 40 N.m (29 lb ft). Once the rubber plugs are off the brake hose, fit the new copper gaskets, put the brake hose onto the brake caliper, and secure it with the bolt tightened to 40 N.m (29 lb ft). Finally, do the brake bleed, put the wheel back on, and lower the vehicle.
