How to replace the power steering pump on 2007 GMC Acadia?

In order to remove the power steering pump, the fuel injector sight shield should be removed and the power steering fluid emptied first. Following, take out drive belt, steering gear heat shield and catalytic converter. Disengage hoses, unscrew the pump, and re- screw it. Lastly, refill and bleed the power steering system and replace the shield again.
