Starting the replacement process of the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake begins with removing both the engine mount strut along with the bracket. Activate the CMP sensor electrical connector from bank 1 as you detach the intake CMP sensor bolt and sensor itself. When installing the CMP sensor fit it into place along with the bolt before tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). After the engine mount strut and bracket removal, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the bank 1 intake CMP sensor before installing the engine mount strut and bracket.
