How to replace the catalytic converter on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the catalytic converter, take off the intake manifold cover, remove the electrical connector of HO2S, and the heat shield that is on the exhaust manifold. Prop the exhaust system, and then take out the catalytic converter and gasket. Clean the mating surfaces, change the new catalytic converter and reconnect all the parts and replace the intake manifold cover.
