  A: Tools needed to service and to repair the connecting Rod Bearing are: connecting rod guide pin (J 43953), piston ring compressor (J 43953), connecting rod guides (J-43966-1), and angle meter (J 45059). Start with the removal of the Oil Pan and the Cylinder Head. In case there is a presence of ring ridge, then turn the crank shaft to bottom out the Piston and cover it with cloth while using the ridge reamer to clear the ridge. The following action will be turning the Crankshaft; the Piston is at the top of the stroke you remove the cloth and the cutting debris and check in ensuring you mark the connecting rods and the caps for reassembling. Then unscrew the nuts and cap from the connecting rod, discard the bolts and nuts, and pull the connecting rod and Piston out of the engine block using the given tools j 41742 and j-43966-1. Check the connecting rod side clearance using a feeler gauge and it should be between 0.070-0.370mm (0.0027-0.0145in), reattach the Cylinder Head and Oil Pan.
