How to service and repair the rear door check on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

In order to service rear door check, it is important to switch off the ignition and to remove the key. Take the rear door trim panel and lower speaker off. Remove the check link bolts and nuts and remove the check link. Reassemble the check link and fit the nuts and bolts. Lastly, put back the trim panel and speaker.
