    A: When replacing the heated Oxygen Sensor 1, first, clear out any codes using a scan tool and conduct the ho2s heater resistance learn reset when it is available to reset the ho2s resistance learned value to prevent possible failure. Now, unplug the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer and plug out the engine wiring harness electric connector from the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electric connector. Then, take out the ho2s sensor electrical connector from the camshaft cover. Take out the ho2s from the Exhaust Manifold using the j 39194-b (J 39194-B Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench). When installing a new ho2s, apply anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 to the threads, and thread the ho2s into the Exhaust Manifold with your hand. Make sure to tighten the ho2s using the j 39194-b to 42 n.m (31 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the ho2s sensor electrical connector to the cam shield, reinstall the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the ho2s electrical connector, and reinstall the cpa retainer.
