  A: The first step to replace the air conditioning evaporator rear tube requires recovering refrigerant from the a/c system through the usage of the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). First disconnect the front evaporator inlet line both from the body retaining clip and the refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector after removing the battery along with the Intake Manifold. Cap or tape the open a/c components to stop contamination during the separation of a/c tube connectors from the evaporator rear line assembly.
