How to replace the right secondary timing chain guide on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

The right Timing Chain Guide replacement starts with removing the right secondary Camshaft tensioner and the right Camshaft position actuator housing while keeping the Camshaft actuator solenoids attached to the housing. The crankshaft socket (J 39946) should be used to turn the crankshaft so both Camshaft position actuator timing marks align at their highest points. Position the tool named Camshaft holding tool (EN 46328) onto the camshafts. Mark the Timing Chain links that share proximity to the Camshaft position actuator timing marks using a paint stick. In a similar fashion make similar paint marks on the primary chain link and the intermediate primary chain sprocket tooth. An open-end wrench locking onto the hex-shaped cast on the right intake Camshaft will prevent rotation as the right intake oil control valve is unfastened and removed. The right intake Camshaft actuator should slide off the Camshaft then separate the sprocket teeth from the Timing Chain before full removal of the actuator. Unscrew the Timing Chain Guide bolt followed by removing the right Timing Chain Guide after which you should clean and examine all Camshaft timing drive components. To install the guide begin by placing the right Timing Chain Guide within the right front Cylinder Head before using the guide bolt to tighten it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Secure the right intake actuator on the Timing Chain by aligning the previously marked link and then loosely install the oil control valve to hold the Camshaft intake actuator in place. Use an open-end wrench to stop rotation during the oil control valve tightening process which has to reach 120 n.m (89 lb ft). End with the right Timing Chain tensioner installation then verify that paint marks match the sprocket timing marks before fixing the right Camshaft actuator housing.
