Create a dimension for the new pipe that matches the actual length plus 6.35 mm (0.250 inch) for each flare connection on 4.76-mm (3/16 inch) pipes. Use the supplied pipe cutter on J 45405 to divide the brake pipe neatly before removing the portion. Choose and install the right brake pipe sizes and tube nuts before stripping nylon coating at the ends using the provided coating stripping tool from the J 45405 kit without damaging the metal surface. Fit the de-burring tool from J 45405 to trim the inside and outside pipe diameter. After that place tube nuts on both ends and make sure the tool and pipe stay free of debris before loosening the die clamping screw.
