How to replace the steering wheel on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

When replacing the steering wheel, disable SIR system and remove the inflator module. Unplug the steering wheel control electrical connector and exposed the steering wheel nut and remove it. Afterwards, attach the Steering Wheel Puller Legs (J 42578) and the Steering Wheel Puller (J 1859-A) to the steering wheel and use the latter to pull the steering wheel away from the vehicle's steering column. After removal, remove the Steering Wheel Puller Legs (J 42578) and the Steering Wheel Puller (J 1859-A) from the steering wheel & on removing the controls and the control harness. For installation, then you attach control and the control harness to steering wheel by ensuring the wiring is properly fitted through the steering wheel. Mount the steering wheel and reconnect steering wheel control electrical connectors. Fit the steering wheel nut and torque it to 41 N.m (30 lb ft) and fit the inflator module and activate the SIR system.
