How to replace the Cam Gear on the Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator on 2007 Buick Rainier?

To replace the Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator, assemble required tools and remove the Camshaft cover. Turn the engine to make the actuator align again, remove the top chain guide bolts and guide. Timing Chain Mark the timing chain, install Timing Chain Retention Tool, remove the actuator. Install the new actuator, making sure that it is properly aligned, and tighten the bolts. Reinstall camshaft cover.
