How to replace the oil pump on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

The installation of the case side cover should be removed to install the oil pump by disconnection of the electrical connectors to the solenoid valves and sensors. Unbolt the oil pump and remove the oil pump. Install the oil pump and re-connect the electrical connectors, and then install the case side cover. It is suggested to reset the transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information.
