How to replace the exhaust heat shield on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

To replace the catalytic converter heat shield, lift and support the vehicle so that the exhaust system is supported. Remove the oxygen sensor wiring harness and the catalytic converter. Take off the rivets and remove the heat shield. Install new shield, reconnect the wiring, and install the converter. It is recommended that you check for leaks prior to lowering the vehicle.
