How to replace the timing chain and sprockets on 2006 GMC Sierra 3500?

To change the timing chain and the sprockets, you will have to remove the engine front cover and line the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets. Clean out the camshaft sprocket bolts, sprocket and timing chain. Wipe the parts and examine and re-fit them, and align the parts with tightening the bolts. Install the front cover of the engine again.
