How to replace the A/C Accumulator in an A/C system on 2006 GMC Sierra 3500?

In order to replace the accumulator, recover the refrigerant, and then detach the evaporator tube and disconnect the A/C low pressure switch. Take off the compressor hose and the accumulator. Install new O-ring seals, fasten the retaining bracket and fasten the accumulator. Reassemble and do leak test with Halogen Leak Detector.
