How to replace the cellular and navigation antenna assembly on 2006 GMC Canyon?

Funneling the front section of the headliner is needed to perform Cellular and Navigation Antenna Assembly replacement. Proceed by disconnecting antenna electrical connectors then unfasten the retaining nut to free the assembly from the roof panel. A vertical upward method allows you to take the antenna assembly off the roof panel. Place the antenna assembly on the roof starting from the top and lower it toward the roof panel while checking for correct index of the anti-rotation pin. After connecting each antenna electrical connector insert the headliner with a tightening nut torque setting at 6 N.m (53 lb in).
