How to replace the rack and pinion inner tie rod off on 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

With the tools needed, remove the rack and pinion boot and replace the rack and pinion inner tie rod. Lock up the gear, pull out the damper and don't adjust the preload of the steering gear. Use a pipe wrench and inner tie rod wrench to disconnect and install the inner tie rod, being sure to stake and seat the shock dampener.
