How to replace the rear parking brake cable on 2006 Chevrolet Impala?

In order to change the rear park brake cable, lift and hold the car high. Cable tension can be relieved by disconnecting the front cable as well as the required elements of both rear cables. Disconnect the cable with Parking Brake Cable Release Tool, and install the new cable and reconnect everything. Lastly, turn the park brake on and drop the vehicle.
