How to replace the alternator bracket on 2006 Chevrolet Express 1500?

In order to change the generator bracket, disconnect the negative battery cable and take out the air cleaner assembly and the upper radiator fan shroud. Disconnect electrical connector of the auxiliary generator, and take off drive belt. Disconnect the positive cable together with the auxiliary generator, then the bracket. Install the components in the reverse order.
