How to replace the A/C Expansion Valve in an air conditioning system on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to replace the thermal expansion valve (TXV), remove the refrigerant of the A/C system. Unscrew the evaporator rear evaporator line assembly and the TXV, and then unconnect it to the evaporator. Install new seal washers, fasten the TXV, re-install the line assembly, evacuate, refill the A/C system and leak test.
