How to replace the thermostat housing (RPO LE5) on 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?

To topple the thermostat assembly, will off the intake-manifold cover and empty the cooling-system. Take off the ECT sensor and HO2S connector clip. Put off hoses, heat shield, and thermostat housing bolts. Install O-ring cover of new thermostat, tighten bolts and reattach hoses. Fill in the cooling system and refit the intake manifold cover.
