How to replace the Power Steering Hose and pipes on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

The first step to perform Power Steering Pump hose and pipe replacement requires fluid removal from the fluid reservoir through siphoning. The first step involves disconnecting both pressure line and supply line tubing from the inlet and outlet of the Power Steering Pump together with removing the air cleaner if needed. Start by unfastening the retaining clips where the pressure line and return line hoses are attached to the bottom and side of the Radiator and then disconnect the pressure line inlet pipe from the steering gear as well as the supply line hose from the power steering fluid reservoir. Detach the Power Steering Pump pressure line as well as the return line. The Power Steering Pump must receive its pressure line and return line installation first followed by attaching the supply line hose to the fluid reservoir. The pressure line inlet pipe should connect to the steering gear while torquing the connection to 28 nm (21 ft. Lbs.). Attachment of pressure line and return line hoses to Radiator retaining clips should be followed by installation of pressure line pipe and supply line hose at the Power Steering Pump. Reinstall but also tighten the bolts on the air cleaner housing to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.) while you also secure the Power Steering Pump pressure line union nut to 28 nm (21 ft. Lbs.). As a final step add power steering fluid to the reservoir while checking for any fluid leakage before resolving the leakage issue when detected during regular system bleeding procedures.
