It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the a/c system; the A/C Condenser mounting bolts need removal so the condenser can be moved out of the way for accessing the auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler. Disassemble the Transmission Oil Cooler lines by disconnecting them from both the cooler and its retainer clip. Begin by unscrewing the toc mounting bolts before extracting the actual cooler unit. Begin toc installation by following the fastener notice in service precautions for mounting bolt installation then torque them to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.) specifications. Connect the toc lines to the toc, tightening the fittings to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.)reconnect the toc line to the toc retainer clip. Complete the process by putting the condenser back into position.
