How to replace the front disc brake dust shields on 2006 Cadillac STS?

In order to change the front disc brake dust shields, lift the car and take off the tire. Disconnect the brake caliper and prop it up so as not to strain the hydraulic hose. Take out the wheel bearing assembly and dust shields and clean the wheel hub and matching mating surface. Install the parts again and roll the vehicle down.
