How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2 on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

Start by turning off ignition power before supporting the vehicle in a raised position. Turn OFF the ignition then disconnect the HO2S electrical connector while observing that bank 2 uses the same configuration as bank 1. Disconnect the HO2S wiring harness from the transmission case followed by removing the HO2S when engine temperature reaches at least 48°C (120°F). Install the new HO2S by applying anti-seize compound directly to its sensor threads; the compound should already be present on the sensor. The threads of original sensors require application of GM P/N 5613695 anti-seize compound along with equivalent products. Reinstall the HO2S wiring harness to the transmission case while also tightening the HO2S to 40 N.m (30 lb ft) before reconnecting its electrical connector. Lastly, lower the vehicle.
