You need to start by taking out right valve rocker arms and stationary hydraulic lash adjusters from their bore position. Make sure to clean all the lash adjusters before performing an inspection. Follow these instructions when installing: never activate the Lash Adjuster plunger without filling the lower pressure chamber with oil. Introduce clean engine oil gm p/n 12378006 or equivalent into the Lash Adjuster while being cautious to protect the pivot sphere area of the Lash Adjuster. Put new lash adjusters into each bore space before reinstalling the right valve rocker arms.
