How to replace the steering wheel on 2006 Buick Terraza?

First, disable the restraint system in order to replace the steering wheel. Next, take out an inflator module and separate the steering wheel control electric connector. Then, you should pull off the steering wheel nut. Mount the Steering Wheel Puller Legs (J 42578) and the Steering Wheel Puller (J 1859-A) onto the steering wheel and then pull the steering wheel away. After removal, puller legs and shall be pulled off from the steering wheel. If equipped, disconnect the controls and the control harness from the steering wheel. For installation, if so equipped, install the control and the control harness to the steering wheel, then pass the wiring through the steering wheel. Mount the steering wheel and attach its steering wheel control Electric connector. Incorporate the steering wheel nut and tighten it to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Finally, install the inflator module and activate the system of restraints.
