How to replace the catalytic converter on 6.0L and 8.1L engines on 2005 GMC Sierra 3500?

In order to change the catalytic converter on 6.0L and 8.1L engines, elevate the vehicle and stabilize the transmission. Take out the transmission mount and crossmember then the muffler and oxygen sensor connectors. Take off catalytic converter, apply anti-seize to oxygen sensors and replace parts.
