How to replace the Brake Calipers on 2005 GMC Canyon?

To remove the brake caliper a person first has to take off the tire and the wheel, then disconnect the brake hose from the car brake caliper while making sure copper gaskets are not stuck on the caliper nor on the hose. Replace and remove the old copper gaskets by installing NEW copper gaskets. Use rubber plug (or equivalent) to seal the end of brake hose to reduce excessive break fluid loss and contamination. After that, remove the brake caliper slide pin bolts and pull brake caliper off the mounting bracket. For installation, mount the brake caliper assembly to the mounting bracket while installing the guide pin bolts and fixing with 40 Nm (29 ft. lbs). Remove the rubber plugs from the brake hose, then install new copper gaskets, and bolt on the brake hose, tightening the brake hose bolt into 40 Nm (29 ft. lbs.). Finally, bleed the system, replace the tirer and wheel, and bring the vehicle rammed.
