The first step for evap canister purge solenoid valve replacement is to remove the electrical connector from the valve and detach both the evap canister purge pipe and vacuum supply hose. Screw the evap canister purge valve loose before removing it from its Intake Manifold position. Installation begins with positioning the evap canister purge valve into the Intake Manifold according to the fastener notice in service precautions guidelines and then screwing the bolt while tightening to 9 n.m (80 lb in). After switching off the vacuum supply hose and evap canister purge pipe from the valve users need to install the electrical connector for the evap canister purge valve.
