How to replace the front door exterior door handle on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

A person can replace the front door exterior handle through these steps: start by taking out the plug to reach the T25 TORX head set bolt before removing the bolt which lies under the plug and the outside cap. Simple detach the handle from the door by pulling the outside handle rearward followed by removing the gaskets. Start by removing the T25 TORX head bolt to detach the handle housing. After finishing with the handle housing, remove the trim panel along with the water deflector and lock cylinder and handle rod from the lock. Remove the door handle rod by disconnection from its housing components. The installation process requires you to join the door handle rod to both the housing unit before linking the handle rod with the lock. Attach the T25 TORX bolt to the handle housing while tightening it to 3 N.m (27 lb in). Place the handle gasket next to the cap gasket then slide the outside handle into the door before proceeding with the installation. Return the lock cylinder and TORX head cap and T25 TORX head bolt from the door frame side into place while tightening to 3 N.m (27 lb in). The last step is to install the TORX plug while also putting on the water deflector and trim panel.
