    A: The first step to replace the Torque Converter Clutch/Cruise Control Release Switch requires removing the electrical connector attached to it. First disconnect the electrical connector from the switch before removing the device from the brake pedal bracket. Pull the switch out while counterclockwise rotation until it frees from its retainer. Push the locking tabs into place when ready to detach the retainer. When installing the Torque Converter Clutch/Cruise Control Release Switch position its retainer into the brake pedal bracket until the locking tabs are completely engaged and then connect the electrical connector before performing switch adjustment.
