How to replace the Trunk Lock Cylinder in the rear compartment lid on 2005 Chevrolet Classic?

In order to change lock cylinder in rear compartment lid, remove applique at the rear compartment lid and unscrew lock cable. Pry the lock cylinder rivets and take away the cylinder and the gasket. Fit the new lock cylinder and gasket and fit using rivets, and reattach the applique.
