How to replace the rear compartment lid tailgate handle on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?

In order to change the tailgate handle, one has to open a luggage compartment and take the required panels out. Unplug the cable and get out the front and rear seats. Unscrew the handle and re-connect the cable. Install new handle, re-lay the carpet, and reinstall panel and seats.
