How to replace the A/C Switch in the HVAC Control Assembly on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?

In order to change the A/C switch, disconnect the negative battery cable, and remove the instrument panel lower cover. Remove the retaining screws of the A/C switch, remove the mechanical control cables and electrical connectors. Installation involves reconnection of the electrical connectors, placement of the mechanical cable housings and fixing the switch. Lastly, replace the battery and the cover.
