How to properly replace a muffler on 2005 Chevrolet Astro?

Wear protective goggles and gloves and make sure that the exhaust system is cool. Lift the car and prop the muffler. Take out the nuts that hold the muffler to the catalytic converter. Apply rubber hangers, remove the muffler and examine that they are correctly aligned during installation. Replacing damaged components and all the components should be of OEM standards.
