How to replace the left camshaft on 2005 Cadillac XLR?

In order to replace the left camshaft, collect the tools required and take off the left intake and exhaust camshaft actuators. Loose the camshaft bearing cap bolts and remove the caps, camshafts and followers. Clean and grease parts, install the followers and frame the camshaft making sure it is properly aligned and lubricated and then installing the actuators again.
