The first step for Master Cylinder Fluid Level Sensor replacement involves disconnecting the electrical connector which controls the brake fluid level sensor. Insert needle nose pliers to depress the retaining tabs at the end of the brake fluid level sensor before pushing it through the reservoir. Place the brake fluid level sensor inside the reservoir before pressing it into position to activate the sensor retaining tabs followed by connecting the electrical connector.
